ATI Super Damper™ Harmonic Dampers?????

Hey guys, i remember seeing a 7M with one of these ATI Harmonic Dampers
on it at one point and time, Does anybody know who it was that had this on there car, I would like to get one but they only list one for the 5M and 2J. Thanks

So this damper does have an a/c pulley on it as well? Or did you custom fab one on your damper?

Edit: Do you happen to know the cost of one off hand? I had an unorthodox crank pulley that I'm not going to use on my new rebuild. I was going to get a stock damper, but rather have an aftermarket lightened one that will still do the job.

i took it off for the photos since most folks that wanted this were A/Cless.

Beleive me it will be a cold day in hell before I get rid of the A/C ;)

that one is for the 2jz (geez they are now in summit?!?!).the MKIII one no one is buying so no cheap prices.

i have a commercial account with summit, but is ati manufacturing them? i buy from several other vendors and they may give me a better deal than summit. i'll try but i need a p/n.

What is the added benefit of this damper? Is it lighter weight? Does it add some increased reliability over the stocker?

would you trust a 14 year old damper to do it job right?

I sure as hell wouldn't.

it is light by three pounds but the bonus is for all the drag racers is that this is SFI certified. ;)

The summit price isn't bad considering the Unorthodox underdrive pulley costs a little more, but without the whole "dampening" part.

well that summit price is for the 2jz.

I doubt highly the &m price will be the same. Of course I could be wrong and since summit sells so much ATI they might be able to get a break.

i called ati on the 7m. "if its not listed on our website we don't make it". however, its 250$ engineering fee & cost of balancer with discount. example he gave me was if the balancer was priced for 500$ you'd only pay 250. total price with fee would come to 500. that price would only be good for the first one, each one there after would be a less discounted price. if doing a group buy, a minimal of 10 are needed to get warehouse distributor price(summits cost).

In the catalog it says they offer a 7m dampner but no specifics.
