Ate and RX-8

I went out and wasn't looking to race, as a matter of fact I rarely do these days. I was on a 4 lane raod near our local toyota dealer in the slow lane, its a 35 mph zone and I see these bright lil HIDs and a silver car coming up, so I just keep driving normal. The car gets next to me and its an RX-8 MT with a blonde chick maybe 20 or 21 and her dad a heavyset older guy like 45 or 50 or maybe more. They pace with me and he says hey what is that, I replied "Its a 3rd gen Supra" and he seriously said "Oh the new ones are good but that things a piece of shit I bet my daughter and her RX8 could beat ya".

Now the anger and just plain frustration from constantly dealing with jackasses sets in. I say back "Alright jackass we'll go from 35 rolling and she can honk to start" so we pace at 35 and she starts revving it to dump the clutch from a roll (not smart but ok), I just keep pace waiting for barbie to honk and go, she honks 3 times and I punch it, normally I count car length gains per shift etc for these kill stories but it happened so fast wasn't even funny, also a bit of trafic to dodge, I let off at 90 maybe 95 and she was prolly an 1/8th mile back, she drove well but that POS just wasn't fast enough I guess.

At the next intersection she wouldn't even look over and her dad said "How much boost are you running, thats not what those do" I looked and said "Runs 10PSI and its an Auto".

I felt good, I just hate people like that, she drove really well I figured hse'd miss gears etc but she didn't, Later that night I saw her get spanked by an FD3S RX-7 with mods around 450rwhp LOL.

I am auto 90 with 10psi set hks boost controller, venom 400, intake, hks dp and high flow cat with blitz nur cat-back, hard pipes, HKS SSQV BOV, FAL Fans, and NGK plugs with MSD wires. Pretty light mods really but did the job tonight anyways.

I was cleaning my engine bay once and someone asked me what I had in it. I told him it was a 3liter, he goes "what?" "a 3... cylinder" just to see what he'd say, sure enough he goes "really, how much horsepower is it?" "90... with nitrous" He believed me for weeks.

Nice kill, some kid in town has an RX8 and I've been wanting to make him look like an idiot because he thinks its so fast and he can barely drive stick.

I loved everything about the story Will, and I'm glad you didn't say what Snotcycle said to say. Trust me on this. Being out run is one thing, but you insult a man's daughter to his face and it's going to get ugly. I have two daughters and if some prick ask me how MY daughter blows. He's a beat ass! End of story, no if and's or buts about it. There is such a thing as winning with class, and you can lose with class. I choose to win with it when possible, but I will give props when I'm outrun also. Glad you handled it the way you did...............lol and respect.

RX-8's aren't exactly high horsepower torque fiends, LOL. Oh and my friend knows her, I was telling him about it this morning shes works just over the river at the Illinois strip club that all of us MO people go to, I have yet to go. So yea I beat a stripper in an RX-8 and from what my buddy tells me she has anger issues and her dads some yuppie doctor. LOL it just gets better, I woulda been worried he'd beat me up suprahero but he was like 250 300 lbs and shorter than me I am 5'8 and he was maybe 5'5 LOL. Thanks for the replies guys

Yeah RX-8's make quite a bit less torque than the new Civic Si, and have a little more horsepower than an N/A Supra haha. Not exactly a beast of a car.

And one of my best friends lost his virginity to a stirpper in a backroom of a local stip club, hahah. It's always a good time when he mentions whores or strippers.

I did rather enjoy her pulling the similar action on that fd later, the guy with the fd is cool and its a beast, say what ya want about 13B-RE's lacking torque but once outta first holy crap, and the sounds nice too. Why take on a fd3s rx-7 with obvious mods like exhaust and FMIC after a 3rd gen lightly modded auto supra running 10psi spanks you horribly?

^ I don't know, I don't think I would want my V-card to be taken that way though, haha. The night before he went to the strip club we got drunk, and he told off the girl he's liked since elementary school over something stupid, ended up getting mad at himself, went to the strip club the next night, and the rest is history. What's sad is that he said all he could think of was Kate (the girl he told off) and the more he thought about her the more he pounded the stripper, lol.

All I could say to that was "That's pretty fucked up..."
