At the track

I ran yesterday and only got 1 run in because of the track and some POS S2000 spewing oil all down the track. My 60' was only a 2.0 and my car hesitated right before I shifted to 4th and then about 5k rpms, the car bucked and hesitated again so I let off about 120' before the end. It sucked bad because I slowed down at the end. If I didn't have this hesitation I would've got a low 12 for sure and if my 60' was better It would have been an 11. I was only running 19-20psi on pump. I don't even think that I hit 20 because of the hesitation. Just on this setup alone, I know it will go high 11's. with 25 psi and race gas mid 11's (with a good 60') I'll be going back in 2 weeks when the track opens again.

This was with a full weight 89 Targa, with spare tire, 1/2 tank of gas and some other stuff, My car was about 3890 with me in it too. Next time out It will be on race gas, same psi and no spare.
Suprafanatic, you know what tires I have, the MT ET Street radials!

I didn't really care about the guy next to me, I was just trying to stage my car for the first time like others have said to, that's why I left late. But still left late and beat him by a second!! I wish I would've been able to go all the way down the track:3d_frown:

you know that stang was thinking he had you in the bag off the line... got to love turbo lag, lets them think they are going to win ;)

buy/steal/hustle a new battery for the camera man, I want to see the new motor getting abused this weekend!

Hope you find that leak (my guess anyway), small stuff like that sucks sometimes
