im currently doing a rebuild on a 7M-GE and will be turboing it after the engine is worn in. iv been doing alot of reading. and decided to be on the safe side of things and put in ARP rod bolts, head studs and main studs. (better to do things right then kick your self in the ass for not getting every peace of info you can) i have also been looking around and haven't found any info on the main stud sizes.
the reason im posting is because on suprasport they said.
"The 7MGTE has a conflict with the hardware at the oil pump location. You have to call ARP and state the situation and request two MAIN BOLT pieces for use in these locations "
but never gave a size on what they should be. it says two main bolt pieces but i would like to know sizes so when i go to call ARP i can give them the correct info. and when i go to install my crank once i get my block back i don't run into fitment problems with my oil pump. since they said the GTE's have the conflict i was wondering if the GE's would have the same fitment issue?
