ARP head stud isntall ???

ok i bought arp head studs i must be retarded but i cant seem to find out how to trq them down. i put in the stud down tight i went to put on the stud nuts on they fit fine but the socket will not go over the bolt at all !! the valvle housing gets in the way i have no idea how to do this here is the studs i bought. I searched the site for like 20 minutes trying to find somthing but found nothing any help would be awesome thaks in advance

yeah.... a thin wall 12 point deep socket thats what i used.... and you have to make sure the cams are turned so you can get a socket in there.

are you using craftsman? yea they make their sockets thcker than f*(&(n sh*% i had to have a deep socket put on a lathe in order to fit a dsm head and if you are having issues with the thickness look inside of the socket too, when i did it as it tightened and went deeper onto the stud the inside wall on the socket actually got narrower and got caught on the top of the stud. thus keeping hte socket from fully seating on the nut and getting caught on the stud while i stood on the ratchet pushing it down grinding down the stud. if this happens just take your socket to machine shop, have it lathed to a thin wall, and if its the kind that narrows the deeper you go into the middle of the socket have it drilled out so it doesnt hit the top of the stud.
