I HAVE NOT STARTED MY SWAP YET BUT WANTED TO GET SOME INFO CLEARED UP. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE. 87 TURBO 5SPD CAR. I JUST GOT A ARISTO 2JZGTE WITH COP COILS. ONE OF THE COIL PLUGS IS BROKEN AND ONE OF THE HARNESS PLUGS IS BROKEN. SO I WILL NEED TO FIX THAT. HOPE I CAN GET A PIG TAIL FOR THE HARNESS SIDE?

I AM A WELDER N FABRICATOR SO MAKING MY OWN PARTS LIKE MOTOR MOUNTS N EXHAUST, ETC. WILL B EASY. BUT IM NEW TO DOING A 2JZGTE SWAP. I HAD A 450HP 7M N HER B4 AND SPUN A ROD BEARING.

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS: I SAW THE POST ON A 2JZGE-T SWAP WITH ALL 7M HARNESS, ECU N SENSORS. BUT IS THAT THE SAME FOR THE GTE?

AND HOW SHOULD I WIRE 2JZ C.O.P. DO I USE THE ARISTO STOCK IGNITOR OR TWO 7M IGNITORS?

PLS KEEP IN MIND IM ELECTRICLY RETARDED..LOL..I GET CONFUSED FAST WITH WIRING THINGS. SO I WILL NEED SOME PIN OUTS, DIAGRAMS, PICS, ETC.

THANKS FOR UR HELP...:aigo::aigo::aigo::aigo:

couple of issues here...
1- this is not an intro thread you've made- rather an engine swap tech question
2- CAPS ARE NOT USED ALL THE TIME. D: thanks

Here is a thread on putting the 2jzgte into a MA70 chassis
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?66984-2JZGTE-MKIII-Swap-Info

And here is the section of the forums that you want to look into for other help on swaps.
http://www.supramania.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?30-Other-Engine-Tech-%281JZ-GTE-2JZ-GTE-Etc%29

And honestly you can get premade motor mounts that will save you lots of time by checking out the vendor section or you can go to Driftmotion.com to help with alot of other swap parts. Also you cannot use 7m electronics on a 2jzgte plus it would be a down grade. The harness should have the igniter box on it that controls the firing of the coils. Also driftmotion has replacement plugs incase you have some broken ones.

If you really want to make you harness plug and play look up DR. Tweak at Phoenixtuning.com he specializes in mating the two harness together. Little pricey but worth it if you dont want to do the wiring. The search bar is gonna be your friend on this forum as there is a ton of knowledge. Once you go 2j you will love it, good luck and welcome!

Toyotanos - thanks for stepping in, but next time - hit the report post button so we can get the cleanup crew in :p

Gurley - please, next time you see a tech question in here - don't answer it! There are sections for this sort of thing to go in.

To the OP - talking in ALL CAPS is a surefire way to be annoying on a forum. Also, posting in the wrong section is annoying.

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread seeing as the OP likely has his answer now - any further tech questions can be asked in the CORRECT section.
