Guys...I prepared the aristo 2jz and was ready for installation.
I also hit the firewall a bit. But the engine's mounting won't fit! :aigo:
I need to push it towards the firewall about 1 inch,so I can come
over the crossemember's mounting.
The aristo's engine brackets are also a little spread out (wide open)
towards the member of the chassi.
Do I need to get the 1jz engine brackets for the correct mounting?
Kind think of anything else:1zhelp:

Need help guys...

Thanks,Klaountio

Yes, you need JZA70 mounts. Assuming the '1990' in you profile is the correct year of your car.

He is right. The Stock Aristo or MkIV mounts will not work in a MKIII chasis. You will need to get the JZA70 mounts or one from BIC here on the forums to do the swap.

My mk3 is 6/1990 year model.
I do have the 7M mounting insulators.
So...I need JZA70 engine brackets (mountings),and I will use the 7M's
rubber mountings...correct?

so why do people use the 97 supra mounts when doing the 1J swap? I think I read that somewhere...

How much $$ do the JZA70 mounting cost?

But to be hounest,I 've seen a 1jz engine with aftermarket custom mounts!!!!
Why the guy should do that, since he has a JZA70 mk3???
