I'd like to ask for some help from the Supramania Off-Topic crowd.

I've just about completed web development on the online store for our eCigarette business. If you guys have a few moments would you mind looking it over for me?

The site is currently in "showcase" mode, meaning you can view items and prices, but you can't create an account or place any orders. I'd like for you to take a look at it, and give me some feedback.

Is it easy to navigate? Any obvious spelling or product listing errors? Any information missing that you think needs to be there? Are the product descriptions clear? What do you think? Anything missing?

Edit: I'm aware of the missing photos on some of the accessories - I'll shoot photos of them tomorrow AM and will have them up.

The site is just about ready to go live, but before I flip the switch, I'd like for you folks to take a look. It's really hard to critique your own work, so you may see some flaws that I don't.

Also, once the site goes live, we're going to off a 10% discount off all items for Supramania members, so if you see something you like, you'll get it for 10% less than the listed price.

Here's the link (this is not public, only you folks know about it):

http://www.aresecig.com/catalog

I appreciate the help. Thanks!

Looks good but it feels like I'm at one of those adware sites. I think it is because of the .................... separating the links. I dunno, just looks wrong with them.

ARES V5 Atomizer page : This atomizer is one of the the highest performing atomizers on the market today. A large bridge and low ohms requirements, this atomizer lasts longer, produces clouds of vapor.

A large bridge and low ohms requirements... I think requirements could drop the s.

Totally Wicked Eliquid 10ml bottle page : At present we stock 11 flavors, ranging from the old favorites like M/boro and Regular Tobacco to more exotic flavors such as WaterMelon, Orance, Vanilla and Strawberry.

Guessing Orance is orange.

Screwdriver E-NI- MKII starter kit page : And what does the Screwdriver has that a regular Electronic Cigarette doesn't have?

I think it should be Have instead of has? Maybe it's just me.

I think thats it, the links seemed to work and point to the correct page/images from what I could tell...

Hope this helps! Let me know when you get the site running for sales, I have a friend who uses E-cigs and has the eliquid shipped from china and would rather deal locally.

I think you're right - the copy isn't final - I'm actually paying a professional to re-write most of them, but I'll make that quick tweak.

Correct - thank you. :)

You are correct there as well - a lot of this was written at 2am after long days of work - I tend to get a little punchy that late at night. I rewrote a good bit of that description - thanks again. :)

Thanks very much, all of you - I appreciate it.

I've talked with the Chinese suppliers, and my profit margins would be tremendous on Chinese made juice, but I don't think I trust it. I wouldn't feel comfortable selling people something I wasn't willing to use myself. That's the one very cool thing about this business, they are products I believe in and use. Every single item on that site is something I own an use personally.

May go live as soon as midday tomorrow depending on how all back end testing goes.

Looks great!!! Easy on the eye, professional, easy to navigate, etc :)

(Just wished there was int'l shipping!)

I read that you're hiring someone to rewrite most of the stuff, but on this page: http://www.aresecig.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=18 the first line should read as:

Totally Wicked E.Smoking Liquid came into being because our friends over at Totally Wicked were experiencing difficulty with not only buying eliquid,

That restriction doesn't apply to people I know here on Supramania - I just don't want to do it for the masses at the moment.

If you need anything, let me know and we'll work it out.

Yep, I dunno what it is to me, the dots make it just look fake I guess. Everything else looks good, just those menu separators....blah! LOL

I agree with him about that feel from the menu, but I think it's because of the very basic font. That's the font a lot of them use. I think the menu area just needs a little bit of spicing up, and maybe a link at the top to your ecig forum? Sometimes it helps to see other customers actually participating in something. Other than that, it's lovely.

I haven't went thru for spelling mistakes (seems I'm late for that anyways) but from my first impressions I can say that I don't like the font. The font used in the images, that is. It looks.. stretched.. and just unprofessional. If that's the look you're going for.. cool instead of professional, It's fine. IMO if you're going for the PRO business look you need something a little different, to me it just throws off the look of the whole website.

Just my opinion. Good job though, you'll have some business from me very soon as a family member HAS to stop smoking soon and she decided to go the 'electronic route' first. It's funny because I didn't even know these things existed until a few days ago when she explained it all to me lol :)

Looks good!

ps are you going to sell the disposables so i can get an idea if i like them or not

I had no plans for disposables. There are two reasons:

#1 - most disposals are made to simulate "mini" ecigs, which I don't sell. I've found that most people buy minis (because they are the most "advertised") and then are dissatisfied with them and then move up to the models I sell. I'd rather just start people out on something that will truly satisfy them.

#2 - The prices on them are so high ($12 - $13 a piece) that they are generally MORE expensive than regular smokes whereas all of the models I sell will save people at least 50% off of what they pay for traditional cigarettes.

I can special order a couple for anyone who does want them, but I didn't plan on stocking them or listing them on the website.
