Hey guys, I do a fair bit of trolling around on the forums looking for information and such, but I've come across some kind of upsetting information recently.

I'm building my Mark 3 over the winter, and from looking at "similar" builds, I'm noticing people arent cracking the 400whp mark. I'm not looking for a monster build by any means but I certainly thought I was gonna pull more than 400whp.

It's a completly rebuilt block, with 9:1 Weisco's, and an otherwise forged bottom end. The head had a 5 Angle Valve Grind completed, other than that stock cams with Fidanza Cam Gears. 2.0 MM MLS gasket.

Thats the "Internal" work.

Other goodies include Lex AFM, RC 550's, Walbro 255, Spearco Replica FMIC+piping, 60-1 ct26, BIC Downpipe, De-cat Test Pipe, Tanabe Hyper Medallion, Apexi NEO, Aeromotive AFPR, Turbosmart MBC.

I guess I'm wondering if thats enough to crack the 400whp mark. I'm just looking for a bit of feedback, hopefully more "yes" then no's.

The way it seems is my only chance is using as many different tuning options as I can get to pull that 400th whp out of it.

Any constructive criticism is appreciated and welcomed, although I'm not really looking for the I'm an idiot for choosing such and such. It can be worded better than that.

Thanks

Tim

I don't know anything about the ct26's or the upgraded ones. I know with your mods and a good turbo like a gt35r, you'd hit 400rwhp easily. You'll get a few opinions in here that will know about them sooner or later.

With all those things that you have you can hit more than 400HP. There are a lot of people with that lexus afm/550 combo plus similar mods who are hitting north of 400. Just find a good tuner. Refer to this:
