Apexi power intake kit fitment issue pics inside ADVICE please

So i bought a apexi power intake from driftmotion

I have a Lexus AFM and well the pics speak for them self.

What would you do?

I have 2 ideas

1st= Drill holes large enough in the adapter to fit around AFM studs

2nd= Switch studs with stock 7m AFM studs

so i just switched the studs over for anyone wh has this problem in the feature

amazing pedal feels very light now and very responsive

Interesting, mine didn't have that issue...

I don't know why but the 2 Lexus AFM i have are like this the stud just has a stop in the way.

But it was easily switched with the studs from the stock GTE AFM

Yeah, mine didn't have those bigger studs. Must have changed over the years or something...
