Anyone with a front mount intercooler have this problem too?

For some reason I hate how my front intercooler looks. On my car it looks as if the intercooler is only 12 inch long. (of course it is not) Anyone have pictures of theirs? Is everyones front mount look the same? I like the MKIV how the IC fills up the whole front rather like mine where theres so many gap. 31'' is the biggest I can find so far that are not like a bank killer. Anyone have one of a MKIII where theirs are flush in better?

You could alway put an '89+ bumper on it ot something like a Gracer from Shine

for one thing you are trying to compare a MKIV to a MKIII. the bodys are not the same. 31 is big. like black co@+(well i think you get the point). and like every one that knows 0anything about cars, speed and HP is = to money, the green back. if you wanna do the3 you might as well call your car green back. you could always find a web page that has bigger cores and then get some end tanks that will fit. any way +1 on the look. id hit it.

i havent heard that in a min. what where the finale findings on painting an intercooler black , or anything. dose the paint really take that muck away from the cooling poser of the intercooler? is pouter coating better or just bear aluminum?

nothing wrong with doing it, they paint radiators with a special paint that actually helps disperse the heat (and it's not too expensive either)

powdercoating or normal paint I don't think I'd mess with...
