I'm looking at getting a complete surround system. I'm going to piece it together though, not a in home theater in a box.
I'm having a tough time deciding between three different products.
Polk RTi A7, RTiA9, or the Monitor 70s.
The price difference between the A7 and the Monitor 70s is negligible, but there's a pretty hefty jump from the A7s to the A9s.
Can anyone convince me that the jump would be worth it?
I'm also considering Klipsch. I'm not sure which series of their entire lineup I have access to but none of this stuff is being purchased at retail pricing, so don't let that be part of the equation.
The center channel and rear speakers are cheap enough I'll just get the highest end I have access too. The front towers are not that cheap though
They're all going to be running off a Denon 887 which puts out 100 watts per channel, and I have a Velodyne subwoofer.
