Anyone using stock Scion CD/Mp3 player?

Why not? It looks stock, and the plugs on the right hand side looks like they might work with our radio. Or does the Scion units suck?

I have an 06' scion xA and the Cd player is pretty nice. It does just about every format and has MP3 player/Ipod support.

It should work on our cars as log as you have the pioneer adapter harness. A supra with Ipod compat would be pretty cool.

Its not the one in the pic, from an xB maybe?

i have the ipod direct full speed cable thingy for my alpine unit. its great.

My friend just got a Scion head unit for his 2000 Celica GT. It fit perfectly. He was looking at my tape player and he thinks his old celica headunit would fit mine. So, A=B B=C, A=C. I dunno about wiring though.

I beleive the newer toy units are too wide for our original radio space.

The plugs are the same I plan on buying one of these and putting it in my supra.

plugs are exactly the same.... and you can get the scion bazooka bass tube that plugs right in....I've got one sitting in my living room with wiring

There are 2 different Toyota stereo harnesses, powered and non powered, the powered has an amp in the system somewhere so be carefull what you try but if the plugs work together you may be in business.

I have an original tape player. lol i took it out when i installed a new unit. Now it's just sittin in my trunk.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but is there any new info, I found one that i might buy if it plugs right in though.
