I don't see how $199 is too "expencive"...
This IC looks like it will almost drop in with minor modifications... I'd say, pick up a couple silicone couplers and the job is done.... better yet, pick up a set of
these IC pipes.(<--that's a link)
Just search eBay for "intercooler piping", and check the descriptions before you buy any of them. They usually go for $100, but those pipes are only 1.5mm wall thickness, which is nothing.
The link I provided has 2mm pipes, which are better, but not much. I even sifted through 5 pages to find those...
Once in a while, you'll find some Stainless Steel universal IC pipe kits. Those are good. My friend's DSM came with that kit on it and the pipes are very good quality.
:EDIT: I found that set my buddy has on his DSM. 304 Stainless. 2 available right now.
