Hi all i have a MAFT with the 3.5" GM ive seen it in other cars i was wondering if anyone have tried installing one of these in a 7MGTE. just wondering!!!! anyone have pics?

im new to all this.... so what is the MA70? my MAFT is one i had on my 4G63 Mitsubishi. i just though i could use it.....

no, you can't use your mitsu MAFT w/the supra.....w/o changing the ROM.
DAMN... i have an 89 Turbo how do i know what chasis code it is... but i still can use the GM maf right?... i need some ideas like i said im new to the Supra world so how about some advise...:biglaugh:drjonez said:

yes, you can use your MAF.
the point is that the MAFT needs to know what factors to use for it's conversion. those factors are stored in the ROM. you MIGHT be able to just replace the ROM to use the DSM MAFT on the MA70....or you'll just need to buy a whole new MAFT or MAFT gen 2 or MAFT pro.
ok great im going to try to sell it in the DSM clasifieds and use that $ for some mods what should i be looking into doing? im in the process of having the motor rebuild, new timming belt head gasket seals etc etc ,im looking for a MHG, and some ARP head bolts. as far as performance stuff ,From my old Mitsubishi i have a set of RC 550s (looking for 2 more) a SAFC, RFL BOV, several Gauges, My MKIII i got it last month i pd 500.00 for it is an 89 Turbo Targa Burgendy with grey interiors NEW!!! tires, the car had a ticking in the motor thats why im having the motor rebuilt. i also need a driver side door handle mine is cracked... other than that i cant wait to get it on the street....:evil2:

thank you guys 1tuffsuprs i got into it because 5 of my friends have MKIII and they are here in NC also im currently trying to get mine in shape and hopefully we can get a meet with all the supras in NC, this weekend the NC supras will be at the Lowes Motorspeedway for a show i think and a swapmeet as well. if anyone is going please let me know.
