Anyone smoked their lights

i dont have pictures of it anymore. might have posted some wayyy back in the day. but i took them off and replaced them with new lights because i was getting pulled over for them all the time. like 2 times in 1 week and then once in another week. was bullshit i tell you lol. looked good, but to dark i think i did 4-5 coats of VHT night shade. my spoiler light is still tinted though if you would like a picture

Dont know the rules about Ebay but look for item 250498370777. They look good on that car.....more unifom.

I highly recommend this, get it at most hobby shops. It dries smooth as glass, works so much nicer than the VHT NiteShades.

I tried smoking them in the past.
The high was great, but the comedown was just horrible. Not to mention the withdrawls the following day :biglaugh:

On a serious note, does tinting have to be done on the inside of the lenses or does it hold up just fine if you tint the outsides? If I had to crack open the housings to apply tint, I think would just go with the VHT NiteShades.

Did you sand them / wet sand them at all? Clearcoat? They looked good at first but the more i look at them they dont seem as clear as ive seen.

Nope, removed the silver paint off the back of the lense and covered the holes in the back panel (if you have a black car this wouldn't matter).
