How could there be fake SAFC's? Aren't the SAFC's similar to a chip? It'd be hard to replicate those, I'd imagine.

the silver blue, limited black w/ ruby face and white numbers, and yet another black w/ blue display and blue numbers.

We/APEXERA have found an imitation of our Auto Timer in the market.
Based on the phisical appearance of the imitation product, it is very difficult to see any difference.
Of course, on further technical investigation, these products are very much inferior.
To assure future genuine purchasers, we would advise prospective customer to only buy from authorized Apexi/Apexera dealers.

The following pictures are the comparison of Genuine and imitation product.

Package height is 63mm in imitation and 76mm in genuine Auto Timer.

The looks is the same, though the control knob touch is not smooth in imitation.

You can see "SHEN ZHEN" on the imitation's circuit board.

You can see "APEX'i" logo on the genuine circuit board, and you can see two big chips on the back of the imitation circuit board.

Imitation uses all Chinese components, and genuine products use Japanese components. Quality of the products are ovbiously better in genuine products.
