i'm thinking about getting a competition flywheel and the stage 4 clutch if i can't find any other alternatives but i wanted to know how guys who are using the flywheel feel about it? i heard if you go too light of a flywheel it hurts your low end and high end but then the turbos would make up for the high end no? now for the clutch, how much power can it hold? is it okay for daily driving? i was thinking about 500+ hp

IIRC.... the competition clutch is new for the MK3.

PM ROB @ 935 motorsports, he sells the product, he might have some good info on them....i think he said he tested them out, but im not sure.

Not to many people have that clutch.

I have a CC Ironman series in my car. It uses a ACT HD PP with a 6 puck sprung hub sintereed iron disk. It drives great and te pedal feel os perfect. I have had it in for two summers worth of driving. It has never slipped on me with 500whp of dailt driven power. THe thing is is doesnt like to be slipped too much, like at the track or driving up a steep driveway. You can actually hear it grinding into the flyheel when you slip it. At the end of last summer I went to do a spin turn ( while fully loaded for a vacation) and the disk welded itself to the flywheel or PP. Lucky enough I just turned the car off, and then tried to start it again (like its in gear) it was enough to pop it loose again and I was able to finnish my road trip. It drove rough for a day after that. I havent had a chance to pull it out yet but I am sure I will need a new clutch and possibly flywheel. I will take it apart in the next month or so.

my 3 cents
