Anyone need stance coilovers??

Our shop is doing a large group buy on stances next week. I was wondering if anyone on here wanted to get in on it. Price will be 15% off MSRP. It comes out to be about $1250 shipped. If you can find a lower price then that tell me and I'll see waht I can do.

This is for the GR+ model since that is the only one for MK3's. We can also order any other coilovers they offer.

I finally got these in and I am really impressed with the quaity and ride. Most of the workers in the shop got a set too. We have a guy that said they so far they are better then his HKS coils were too.

I am trying to see if anyone is interested in a GB on these for $1250 for under 5 people and $1200 for 5+ people. If we can get even more members the price can probably drop more.

For MK3's it is 12 front 10 rear. You can also order other springs too if you want. There is no actual warranty on them but I am told that if there is a problem the factory will take care of it. If there is truthfully somethign wrong with it we will take care of you.

12/10 doesn't sound very good for Mk3s. It's pretty soft for coilovers and the rear rates are too high relative to the front or front too soft compared to rear, depending on which way you want to go with it. Just seems way off from where it should be. Unless the 2 was supposed to be a different number?

Well except for the people who run stupid staggers, like 225s in the front and 295s in the back or something ridiculous like that. They might be balanced alright for something like that.

They said it was 12. Truthfully I was going to do a 14/10 set up but I wanted to see how it felt first. I am pretty satisfied with them right now but I might switch it up later.

I stand by Stances 100%. Is the 1250 for the GR basics? or the GR+? or the GR2? I live right near Touge Factory, and Dave(the owner) is an honest guy, he'll fix whatever is wrong as long as it is a defect.

I think Stance only makes GR+ for the mkiii. Hows the search for the bottom end coming?

very true i experienced this the other day when i down shifted in to 3rd in the middle of a turn and my rear suddenly began to slide out. and i believe they are 14/10 not 12/10

I've been on track a few times now with 12/10 spring rates and it is indeed sprung too softly in the front and the f/r ratio is too biased towards oversteer. Stance says you can go +/- 2k without re-valving so I think I'll order 14k springs for the front and see if that helps.

I run no tire stagger front to rear btw.

Yes they are really soft for racing. I swapped out the springs for some Eibachs being as they said it would take over a month to get a bigger spring rate in. So I basically moved the 14K to the rear and put 1200 pd Eibachs in the front. This is a good ratio for racing especially with slicks

There is a good bit of body roll but I'm still on stock swaybars. My main issue with the spring stiffness is while driving on the street I hit tons of stuff on even moderate bumps in the road. With the F/R weight balance on these cars and overall heavy weight I think I'd like to try something like 18k/14k next. But then I'd want to re-valve the shocks and i daily drive my car so that won't happen anytime soon.
