Anyone mount their AFM AFTER the BOV?

After a quick test fit, it looks like I could replace my upper 3000 pipe before the throttle body with my Lex AFM, using some proper sized couplings. Anyone try this to eliminate the problems assosiated with venting BOV's to atmosphere? I figure it will get a bit hotter although I am running an under-headlight cold air intake plus I could wrap it with header wrap. Any feedback or potential setbacks I should know about before I try this? Will the AFM function properly and handle 20 psi? Is it 100% airtight? Thanks.

ive seen pictures of some cars like this, i supose it might work but i wouldn't even try it with out a wide band to monitor the afr's constantly while in boost.

best of luck

i may be wrong, but i think this will only work if you can get the HAC to reference from wherever the AFM is located.

id be concerned how the sensor would deal with elevated pressure levels and how correctly it would read. also if the sensor would snap off -> right into the block = no bueno

Can you point me to a place with this price? I thought they were 500-600. My car is tuned and running perfectly with a SAFC2 but I am getting a fair bit of compressor surge with the bosch BOV and wanted to try venting to atmosphere. (without major changes)

Why not just go maft? a full maft set up can be had for $150ish and it wouldn't look like complete ass
