I have a reputable company who seems to be very interested in hiring me to be a subject matter expert for communications and navigation systems. If the money is right, I am really considering making the move back across the country.
I have already found that my bank has a branch in this town, which is good, but I wanted to know if anyone here can tell me anything else about the area. Obviously I can't ask you guys anything about the job, but what local conveniences are there? Cost of living? Is there high speed cable or DSL, or do you need satellite for decent internet access? Is there good cellular coverage? What does the year round weather look like? Anything has to be better than the 113 it is right now, and the 122 degrees posted on the display I saw at the bank earlier.
