Anyone know about bilstein shocks???

the car i have came with H&R springs i believe and height adjustable Bilstein shocks....

anyone know how to adjust them???

i seen some on their site that uses circular discs that you pop in there to raise it up i guess....but i dunno???

yea it definately aint that one. mine are blue and yellow

i think its the H&R springs....anyone have a pic of H&R springs?? it is WAY too low for me i hate it

i dont think they are adjustable....it has H&R springs and i remember back when i got stuff for my old a70 people said H&R's were way too low. this bitch is retarded low

there are three lines cut into the shock body where the spring mount is. you can move mount up and down here. jack the car up and look at the spring mount - you should see what I'm talking about if they are the non-oem jza shocks.

ok then how do you adjust it???


by the way nothing is blown or worn out its all stiff and VERY smooth ride its just slammed retarded

I have have H&Rs with yellow bilsteins and mine doesn't sit that low either
EDIT: I didn't know they were ajustable once you put the spring seat on

I guess I'll give it a shot.

See the grooves on the shock body? A snap ring sits inside one of those grooves. Then the perch slides down the shock body and rests on the snap ring.
TO ADJUST: Remove spring, remove perch, change snap-ring location to desired slot.
Reassemble.


Looking at that, with H&R's already ridiculously low stance, I'd say that it's on the bottom groove.

Sorry to hear about your suspension dilema, but I couldn't help but notice the wheel lock on those super nice rims you got there.:biglaugh: You don't want anyone stealing those sweat wheels do you?:naughty:
