So this guy offered me some matrix audio concepts stuff and it seems odd. Initially i thought it was some stolen shit, but then i looked them up and they have a website but you cant purchase anything through the website or find any dealers. So I'm wondering if anyone has seen or heard of this brand or ever been offered any of these. It was just really strange. Beware everyone.

Jersey's here
was it in a parking lot? There are alot of ppl that do that. They put a huge retail price on it and have ppl sell you some shit out of their trucks for small prices. It seems to happen more often during the holiday season.
Locate a dealer and see how good their product is

After a quick search it seems to me that they're most likely some pyramid type of operation. Every seller I found is either selling via E-Bay or Classified Ads... Every review and article concerning whether or not they're legit has been removed or is now just a dead link.

Seems like trash to me. Especially the minute you read their disclaimer:

Matrix Audio Concepts said:
Features, specifications & pricing subject to change without notice.
Model # and Manufacture's Suggested Retail price are for identification purposes only.
Manufacturer's suggested prices do not represent a bonafide selling price in the metro trading area.

I could be wrong, this is only my opinion... Perhaps someone who's had personal experience with them will chime in.

LOL at Metro Trading Area.

Yeah, dude, unless you're getting a full home theater sys for like 150 (which you would then promptly sell, unopened, on eBay or CL) then no. Either way, don't keep it for your own use.
Go for a real, quality brand. Hell, even something cheap at a real retail store by a real established company would be better.
