Just curious....I have a nose bra that I never use. It's a pain to put on and I am concerned about rubbing down the clear. Also do you think putting the square headlight covers on is a good idea? I am concerned it could rub the edges of the headlight and burn thru the paint. Just wondering if anyone has had these problems. They also fit very tight. Maybe that's a good thing because it won't move. But just driving around with those things on is a concern.. They are difficult enough just to put on!!!

better tight bc then it won't rub and wear, only downside is over-exposure for months in the sun could fade the rest of your car while the nose looks brand new. good for highway driving, not good for storage. unless you park it in the garage/store it in doors then you should be fine.

There's better options these days. 3M has a black or clear spray on product that can be peeled off that acts as a bra. There's also films that can be applied.

On the case of an OEM bra, they're real leather IIRC and should be treated as such, or they'll shrink (simply being old as dirt at this point could have caused it).

What is the name of the 3M product? I also know they have clear vinyl films that you can wrap over the car. I have no experience in doing that. Probably a project I shouldn't try myself, but covering the nose and headlights would help. The bra's do shrink and I used some products to loosen it up and it does fit around headlight covers....but it is very tight. Not happy about that. I feel it could burn thru the edges of paint

Oreilly's sells that kind of product. Though its armor all, not the 3M. Stuff really does peel off.
