i'm going to be getting a stock 88 turbo exhaust cat-back...What's it look like before i travel to go pick it up? He says the muffler has the two dinky little 1 inch tips.....non chromed nothing

That's stock on an '88?
I've got an '87 and its got chrome tips (at least the stock exhaust that's in the garage has). The pipe might look like yours, but the tips covering the pipes are chrome. They look much better than the '88.

well cool. I showed the guy's some pics of 88 exhausts like that. He says the tips on this exhaust are smaller...like 2 - 1inch tips...
You're missing the chrome "cover" pieces. You can even see the mounting brackets where they used to attach to, in your pic.Turbochargedterror said:

thanks, cool. I talked to the guy tonight, he said it's not stock....So he directed me to a guy who is selling one...i think with chrome tips and everthing..i hope
ok, so i've got this 88' turbo exhaust on the car but i hate the resonator...killing power...Is there any easy way to get a replacement pipe that bolts to the cat and then Clamps the two pipes together? For really cheap....kinda like a test pipe but it's replacing the resonator.
