anyone getting ready for SILV05

well i'm sitting here overseas right now and i have all the time in the world to think of new mods for the supra. this year i will be heading out to SILV05.

here is what i have going on the car from now till the event.

snow performance water injection
MAFT
ported head and intakes
electric cut-out
nitrous oxide


i really wanna get to vegas and break 600rwhp.

this is going to be a fun event.

anyone driving from the east-coast area.. anyone wanna meet up?

On a serious note, I don't think I'll be able to make it with school and work, but if I change my mind, we'll definitely need to meet up and drive out there.

I am desp trying to find time to finish my headlights for this year - so much of my time is sucked up just planning the event. Other than that I don't have much new planned for this year. I do still hope to have a few surprises for 2006 though.

05 was a blast....i was so glad i finally made it out there....the atmosphere is just amazing. we just put a new motor in my car, but im not planning anything specifically for vegas

Im doing everything i can to get my bucket ready....Ill be trailering from CT, so i got quite a drive....maybe ill caravan with some fellow supra freeeks on the way

hey slow66 i feel ya. i'm driving from delaware. you wanna meet up somewhere and car pool. i think i'm going to be leaving around the 9th or so.

what really sucks, i don't get back in the states till 1sept05, that give me about a month to get everything ready.

I am thinkin about goin. Gonna trailer the Supra if I do. Im no big dawg, jus lookin to break 400 RWHP and run low 12s.

Not sure if Im goin though, gotta see if I can get her painted 1st. Also, I heard not a lot of Texas boys go, so that kinda sux.

Actually... Vegas usually has a decent bunch of TX folks show up year after year. Not as many as come down from the PacNW Supras though.

I'm desperately thinking of ways I could make my way out there. Right now the only thing I'm worried about is how I can get my car totally prepped to get out there and back with no problems. (read BHG) It has 75k miles on a stock engine rebuilt by Toyota.

If I can get out there I'm looking for anyone right now who is coming from the north east; since I don't want to be all alone on my trip. So count me as a possible.
