Ok, so why did the old guy kill the girl? I'm confused. What purpose did it serve? Was it for his own fun, or did it serve to benefit the program?

Don't be a prick about this, edit your post, or PM them with the ending....

this movie is how damn old? there's got to be a limit on how old a movie can be and still be a spoiler to discuss it.

I'm in the military, and don't like to pay for movies (free here). Sometimes, I don't get a chance to see them, and wait to rent them. There are movies I haven't seen that are old, and it's no one's place to say I'm wrong for not doing so, but your personal opinions on what is considered "old" needs to stay with yourselves.

Of course the old man wasn't going to give them up, so he killed her to prevent any legal trouble. The end. At least I'm pretty sure, I haven't seen it in a while.
