probably the top secret supra, i think they did it for a better weight distribution. maybe 700 hp?

yeah i've seen it not sure what shop did it but i don't know to what end it was swapped. only logical thing would be the weight reduction as clip said. 700hp i would assume would be close to the breaking limits of that motor Vs. the 2jz can make that without breaking a sweat. none the less a cool project. just my .02$

yup, the 3sgte is essentially a 4-cyl 2JZ, I believe the share the same bore and stroke..

However for a street car it's not a good idea as it's expensive and a 2J can be built with less hassle. But for those looking to reduce weight, and change the weight distribution, it's another option...
