hmmm sounds like you've got a problem somewhere. Mine cranks up and idles fine. It cranked and ran perfect when it was 21 degrees this morning. It idles about 500 for a little while, then the idle comes up to my set 900rpm. I have no cold start injector, or ISC....

Mine started fine in 10 below. She stumbled for a few seconds and then figured out that she needed to raise the idle. Use the TSRM and see if your cold start injector is working. It might also be your temp sender. The ECU might not know its cold out.

Mine will hesitate a little, maybe have to crank for an extra second or two. But as soon as she catches she'll idle up to about 1200, and once she's warm she runs better than in the summer.

I've just started having some trouble starting it now that it's finally getting cold here. I keep having to get the broom to hit the starter with...

Yesterday night a rat or something climbed into the engine bay and ate my #1 spark plug wire  Luckily I had an extra, but if it happens again I'm going to be really mad.

I've been fine in 17* so far and I run 20W-50 so I don't think thats the problem; same cranking fired straight to 1500 RPM and then dropped down slowly.

Could be CSI... I'm assuming you checked for codes?
