Anybody play racer?

I was wondering if anybody played the racing game "Racer" and what you think of it. i just downloaded it and it looks pretty good but i cant play well with the keyboard.

maybe we could organize a supramania race? hehe...

reason i pick this game is because i have no graphics card, the game download is incredibly small, the game is simple, but has good graphics and seems pretty realistic and definitely worth while...

let me know....

and yes, there are supras, but i havent been able to find a mkII or mkIII yet...i havent searched much yet.

This is cool as hell, nice find. I'm gonna put together a map pack, and a car pack , so you guys dont have to go searching everywhere to find it.
and i'm up for some SM racing.

I haven't found where to DL the Mark II or III yet.

The thing I love about this game is I can take it around on my flash drive. It's not at all that bad of a game for free.

yeah we should get some car requests maybe and someone can put together the pack like mentioned...then we can race eachother without fear of not seeing eachother's cars or hassles with compatibility.

i raced a friend and quickly realised that you both must have the car files to see eachother...lol.

but yeah, nice game and a controller is a must BTW... digital (keyboard) is lock-lock steering so it snaps from understeer to understeer and then you end up in oversteer...not good.

You can adjust the sensitivity on it so that it doesnt snap. I agree though, controller is a must, or a wheel.

yeah i just figured that out.

but now i'm having troubles with mylti-player. the other car i race against (friend) is gittery and spinning/flashing in directions other than where he is moving....really weird.

well it is beta, once I'm done with finals Im gonna look into moding for this.
this seems to be the GT4 of the PC.
Always wanted a GT to come to the PC but NOOOOOO.

DL the car, unzip/rar it into your cars folder in the game, same thing goes for new tracks.
