Any tricks to getting the hood to pop if cable is broken?

So, if you've read my other thread, you'll have noticed that I went to pop my hood on Sunday, and well, it didn't pop, but the cable just kept pulling.
Took it to my mechanic today to see what he could do, told me it was snapped.
So now we are faced with a bit of a dilemma. I have a stock intercooler and oil cooler in front, of course blocking any access to pop the hood.
So my question to you guys, is there any tricks to getting it without removing the intercooler?

honestly though bro it wasn't too hard. just terrible cause i had to do mine in the middle of winter. Its not too hard of a job just time consuming.

lol just cut up the stock ic and it'll save some time another excuse to get rid of the stock pos
