Any Supra owners in IA?

Been tossing around moving up to the Iowa City/Coralville area, as my best friend from HS lives up there and cost of living is dirt cheap as compared to FL. Plus the laid back chill atmosphere appeals to me so much more than it does here in FL.

Just wondering if there are any other Supra guys up there that are on here?

I live in Durant, IA.
Its about a half hour from Iowa City...

So how is the car scene up there? Are there many dynos around? My buddy mentioned emissions/inspection testing, how strict is it?

I think I have the only Supra in my small town, there are a few Honda's here but they cant get none of this::w00t::
Not sure on dyno's here but there are a couple across the river in IL.
I've never had to get any of my cars inspected.

Good to know. I know I'd have to buy a beater for the winter. I grew up in Chicago so I do have an idea of what I'd be in for as far as snow and everything.

Gonna have to think about it, gotta find out if I can transfer my job up there.

I grew up in Chi town also, what school did you attend?
Pulaski grade school and Prosser High school for me.

I lived out in the burbs, Oswego high, and Thompson Jr. high, moved up there shortly after I started Jr. high. But that's were I spent most of my life so I consider it where I grew up.

How is the nightlife in Iowa City, my buddy told me there were a lot of bars, but not much else?

I dont really go there much, just when I'm working (road construction)
but I've heard its a party town...
