Any caveats to removing an FCD?

I remember seeing an HKS FCD taped in and wired up behind my passenger side dash when I took out my glovebox months and months ago to wire in some accessories. At first I thought, "ooh, a hidden prize!" followed by "FCD + shimmed wastegate = ticking time bomb!"

I then decided it needed to go, since only God knows what it's set at or if it even works. But I didn't have any documentation for it and didn't want to be hacking blindly at the wiring harness so I left it in place.

And about three minutes after that, I forgot it was even there.

Tonight I was driving around and felt some slight hesitation under heavy acceleration, and thought "hmm, maybe that's fuel cut." This quickly reminded me about the FCD, and how I had wanted to remove it.

Would anyone here take the time to remove the thing? Or is there a setting it can be set to to turn its effects off? It isn't really in the way, but having it connected just makes me a little nervous, especially since I don't know how it's set, combined with the fact that I've got a shimmed wastegate, shimmed up to about 9 psi. If you guys would remove it, I'd like to know if there are any reconnections within the stock harness I'll need to make when I go in to take it out.

Also if anyone knows where I can find the wiring diagram for the FCD on a '91, that'd be great too...

fuel cut is much more than a hesitation, its like turning the ignition off for a second. (brick wall)

this is off suprragirls website.

you should be able to cut the wires and splice the wires that the white and yellow wires were hooked to back together as i dont think there is an on / off switch.
