Any 1JZ or 7M cat converter experts in here?

I received my catback exhaust today and it came with the cat that came off the original supra. I was told it came off a 1JZ supra so my question is does the 1JZ supra have a stock exhaust temperature sensor built into their cat? I was under the car and looking at my old beat up 250K mile cat and it did not have one yet this lower miles cat has this sensor built into it. Sorry if its hard to see in the picture. My camera is cheap. Sold my SLR :(

It goes to IG1 pin 2 and to IG1 pin 13 :)

Yes, that is a 1jz-gte stock catalytic converter, the 7m ones do not have any provision for a temp sensor.

get rid of the stock stuff. if emissions are the problem, you should move.

I still need to keep it for the yearly state inspection. After that I can go with a straight pipe which I have yet to afford one hehe..

But other then that will it be ok to run a 1JZ cat? Im just going to cut those wires off and just leave the sensor in there. My stock 7M cat is old and had seized onto my stock exhaust so I threw it away the moment I had a chance.
