antilock light

well i just got done with a 88 to a 89 engine swap, everything runs fine but the antilock light came on, this never happened to me when i had my 88 engine. anyone have any clues why this light is on or should i ignore it? oh and we also swapped the auto trannys, and the O/d light is also blinking

my tranny O/D light is blinking too.im wonderin if its cause there are 3 wires and a 2 wire plug at the rear that have broken the plastic housing and not connected.Its my 3rd trans too btw.got a r154 to go in but need a front section of tailshaft with a manual yoke init

The ABS rear speed sensor is located in the tranny (MK3 gets a 3 channel ABS system). So it's very likely that is your problem.

I just took out my ABS computer. Is there any way to make that light shut off with the computer removed? Or is it just something I'm going to have to live with?
