So i took my car to the strip today and was expecting mid 14's. First run down the track i got a 14.88. My best time was a 14.76. Can anyone say if that time sounds right for a car with my mods.

BTW, just for reference, i got a 15.89 in my NA just with a crappy exhaust.

MODS: rebuilt motor, 2.5 in hardpipes, spearco "replica FMIC", shimmed wastegate(no clue how much but it peggs the guage at 4k rpm.) 3 in exhaust and downpost but stock elbow.

One more thing, on my last run, i was revving my car and while at the tree with the clutch in revving, i felt a grinding that got worse the higher i revved.

EDIT:
Here is my best timeslip.
60 ft 2.37
330 ft 6.42
1/8 9.6
1/4 ET 14.7800
1/4 MPH 96.37

60' time is part of your problem.

1/10th improvement in 60' = 2/10th improvement in 1/4

easy mid-low 14's just practicing your launch.

Also, you need to come to the big Chicago supra meet this comming weekend! You're not that far away. :) You can practice your launch there. :)

sounds like a chicken in your car a 3:15 lol

yeah you need to practice your launch. also, you need to leave on the bottom yellow, not wait for the green. this has nothing to do w/ the times since it doesnt start the clock til you pass the beams. just thought id mention.
