Another problem, low blower fan speed

You are correct, and like Jag said, I think they call it a resistor and I'm not at home rigt now to confirm this. I have changed it before on my car and I believe it just looks like a coil attatched to a circuit board, but please don't quote me.

edit post: I checked the blower motor resistor today and 2 out of 3 of the coils are in perfect condition, the smallest (thinnest) coil is split in half so im pretty sure thats what is making the low function not work

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the part number is 87138-24030 for a new blower motor resistor, and it's in the sub $30 price range from Watson (or whatever dealer). You can call the dealer and ask for the blower motor resistor I had this saved in a text file from some time ago: 87138-24030 RESISTOR, LIST 33.41. Not sure where I saved it from, probably a forum.

The first one lasted 15-20 years, just get another. :)
