i have the head off my 7m-gte and im doing the metal replacement and arp studs.. what im lookin for is the head bolt torque specs. ive heard many different numbers such as 52lb/ft , some in the 70's and some in the 90's....

arp says 82 as i recall
some supra fans say 72ish somewhere in there will be fine say 75 ?

72 is for stock head bolts, and will work very well on a stock engine.
I do my ARPs to 95. I know members who have gone as high as 125 on bigger power engines.

52ft/lbs is what toyota trorqued them to, and thats what causes the hg's to blow, dont torque it to 52. i have mine at 85 on a mhg.

the torque specs come with the arp studs if you are using the molly lube you torque to 80 pounds if you are using 10 w 30 you torque to 120
