OK so I have searched, but so far I have been unable to find someone with the exact problem as me.
The car is an 86.5.. it went from an N/a 5spd to a JDM 7mgte 5spd.. It has the USDM wiring harness, the USDM ecu and gauge cluster (all out of an 87 turbo supra)
Alright, so at first.. The gauge fuse would blow when the windows were rolled down and after it was driven a little bit. All the other lights work.. suck as signal lights, door open lights, battery light and clock.. The temp, oil pressure and boost gauges would go all the way up and then fluxuate when I drove it, and the RPM gauge worked.. And the fuse would blow in a very short time. The oil pressure sending unit was changed to a USDM one, the temp sensor is still the japanese one.
It seems with other people with this problem, there gauges would be all the way down? Why are mine moving up and down?
Is there any diagrams that show where all the grounds are on the car?
