Took a few shots today of another Custom 3.58 Differential Rebuild I just about finished today.
Received a request for another one of these with the 3.58 gearing after setting up one for SupraClaou (Greece) :D

I need to find some time to work on my own Supra!, ah well good thing I am in no hurry on that front.

If anyone else needs a diff rebuild let me know!

Yep.

Once this one ships the next upcoming rebuild request is getting the same treatment with the 3.58 gearing.
So that will make 3 rebuilds with the 3.58.
Lost track of how many other stock gearing rebuilds I have done.

Thinking about upgrading a 4.3, 4.1, 3.91, 3.73 & 3.58 and just swapping them out in my vehicle depending on how I feel for driving at that time.
Too bad the speedometer cant compensate for that & I have mine converted specifically for the 3.71 now.

Sandblasted the rear cover on this one.
Turned out really nice, has to be the best looking one I have made to date.

Probably going to do that on all rebuilds moving forward.

No I don't get anything from Driftmotion.

I buy them from Nitro Gear or Just Differentials or any of the other large gear companies.
Anywhere that performs a large number of gear setups on Toyota trucks might have a set lying around.

Driftmotion probably sources them from the same place.
The supply of the 3.58 is running low, they won't be around forever.
They are all used pull out parts from specific Toyota trucks that happen to have this gear ratio.
They save the gears when the owner changes to another R/P.

I will be posting up 2 more built differentials for sale soon.
Another 3.91 I will have done within a couple weeks.
The other I will have finished after this one.
FYI if anyone is looking to pick one up soon.

I provide a spec sheet to record what each of the diffs I rebuild are set to internally.
LSD and R&P Backlash, pinion and carrier preload, bolt torque, breakaway torque, ect..
Huge amount of new part cost goes into each, as well as labor to get perfect.

I purchased one of these and can't wait to get the car running to actually try it out. These things look practically brand new once you receive it. Mine came with the spec sheet like was mentioned above but it looked like mumbo jumbo to me..........lol

You haven't used it yet?!
Hah, that mumbo jumbo matches up with TSRM specs perfectly.
