Yea but the 5.4 was probably at half the boost of a 2j making that power so it's still plenty impressive to me.
Oh and I believe that car runs a stock ignition and fuel system.
One also has to keep in mind that enormous superchargers put weird strain on the crank due to the s/c belt... which, consequently puts awkward stress on the block. A turbo of equal horsepower is alot easier on the engine block by comparison.
