I had a bit of time. Still waiting on some parts for my 1J swap. So i decided to take the pan off and finally have a look at what broke.

There were a few small pieces floating around as well. And theres two nice wholes in the side of the block

Anyone interested in a crank, 5 rods and 6 pistons LOL :naughty:

Oh i feel for you Mike

Are you and your car ok?

My Block broke on the Exhaust side, but thankfully non of the oil that came shooting out hit the Exhuast mani or anything else hot enough to ignite it.

well i could say it was too bad too. Cause fire was covered on my insurence. Would have bought a RHD car then with the setlement cash.... LOL

It happened from my last BHG. Had to move the Car and i thought there was no water left in there. Went to Start her up and Bam stopped cold. Put in a new HG and tried to listen for anything odd or sense something wrong didn't see nor hear anything.

It Broke as i was approaching the US border doing 30MPH

It's just a good thing it didn't break the day before when i was bombing down the highway
