Those that have installed the Driftmotion or similar 17mm return fitting, did you use a washer? I have an 87 rack that oem was what looked like a large compression fitting with no washer. 17mm crush washers are damn near impossible to find.

I am interested in this too, I have a PS system that wont bleed and I am wondering if this is the cause of my problems.
Bumping this up. I am wondering if the rack flare is different then the flare that is used on DM 17mm fitting.
I will be doing a whole power steering system revamp on my 87 this fall/winter season and would be interested in this as well...

DM 7m powersteering hose (pressure side)
Remanufactured power steering pump
Remanufactured non PPS steering rack
OEM/DM end links
DM PS cooler
Just need to figure out where I'm going to mount the cooler and how to run the low pressure side lines.
