ok so i got this kit, not having fun with it though. im having trouble with the hose fittings and not really catching on to how to put the hose onto the fittings. and also i have stripped out one of the straight 10 straight AN fittings and wanted to know were i could buy the fitting and cap.

so my main question is, is there a secrete to installing the hose onto the fitting

the red part goes on the hose first.then put some oil on the blue piece to help it slid into the hose.it help's to put the blue piece in a vise.then you can force the hose onto it while twisting it.i usually wrap the part in the vise with thin cardboard ,because i don't have a set of soft jaw's.

Unscrew the fittings.

1. The red part should slide onto the hose with the threaded end facing towards the open end of the hose.

2. Depending on the fitting, there may be a little piece inbetween the red and blue fittings, if there is, put that piece over the inner lining. If there isn't ignore this step.

3. Screw the blue part to the red part. Torque.

4. When properly torqued, the compression creates a leak proof seal.

Do a google search for instructions on how to assemble aeroquip/AN hoses - there are plenty of sites with information on how to install the hose fittings.

ok well here is my 2 problems right now, i finally got one side of my big hose from the kit to, the 45 degree and nut to hose. but the straight and nut i cross threaded :( were can i get a replacement?

now my other problem the flange that fits from turbo to block - feed line fits

now what about the drain? there wasnt anything in there for that. do i have to use one of the fittings and tap into the drain? the adaptor for the oil pan worked great though

The flange with the smaller hole, I'm pretty sure is the feed...the line you want to use is a -3 or -4 (max) here. Larger than that can flood the bearings.

The drain needs to be a -10 line to the pan.
