i was planning on adding all this before i added a fuel package:

Greddy Turbo Timer
Shim Wastegate(4washers)
Apex’I Intake
Tanabe Hyper Medallion Exhaust
3” High Flow Cat
Megamouth Downpipe
Intercooler Hard Pipes
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve
Boost and Air/Fuel Gauge
Dual Gauge Pod

does adding performance parts automatically raise the boost?
also once i get the fuel package consisting of Lexus AFM, 550cc injectors, clips, fuel pump, and FPR am I also going to have to purchase a fuel cut controller to turn up the fuel and a boost cut controller? or when i install the fuel package there will automaticaly be no more fuel cut?

it depends on your car. every car responds to different upgrades differntly. ;) a good exhaust an intake will raise the boost a few psi. with the lex afm and 550's, your fuel cut will be in the vicinity of 20+ psi. stay away from FCD's. (fuel cut defensers)

four washers shouldnt max you out, but you'll probably come close.

too many people throw them on, boost up, dont hit FC, and melt their pistons... besides, with a LEX afm, you dont need it. fuel cut IS there for a reason, believe it or not. :)

so adding the Lex AFM and the 550's and a fuel pump will automatically let me run around 20lbs of boost without buying any of these ridiculously expensive electronics(for now)? then once i get all the things listed what electronics am i going to need to monitor and adjust these?

you might not want to just put your boost to 20psi. work your way up, and tune the car accordingly... ;) dropping that stuff in and boosting 20psi on the stock turbo is going to get you in alot of trouble very quickly.

the CT loses efficiency after about 15psi. that, and the fact that you have NO IDEA how it's going to feel to be boosting that much. chances are the car will take you by surprise and you'll lose control. so, take it easy, and work your way up.

get a walbro, and you'll most likely be safe. having your injectors cleaned wouldnt hurt, either. i'm anal about stuff like that. i would never run more than 10psi on the stock fuel system, even though many people do...

This Post Is For Shaef. What Mods Do You Have On Your Car? I Have A '91 Supra Turbo. I Have Been Thinking About A Hks Fcd, But Read Somewhere Else That They Dont Recommend It. I Have Also Read That People Love Them. I'm Running 11 Pounds Of Boost Now On Stock Fuel System, But I Reach Fuel Cut A Little When I Really Get On It. That's Why I Was Wanting The Fcd. I'm Also Going To Go To 13 Pounds Of Boost. I Havent Read Anyone Else Saying That They Wouldn't Run More Than 10 Pounds Of Boost On Stock Fuel. I Thought That You Could Run Up To 15 Pounds On Stock Turbo And Fuel Pretty Easy. Is Your Opinion Based On Facts Or Just Your Preferance. I Dont Want To Do Anything To Hurt My Car.

buy the boost controler and other stuff and install them. great thing about electronic controlers are that they can be adjusted fairly easy. plus you dont have to buy new stuff again unless its mechanical stuff(turbo, ic, fuel pump, ect.). as for the fuel cut, id make sure its there, like mentioned earlier, it can save you a engine and a WHOLE CRAP LOAD OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
