ok so under the hood fuse block there is/was a fuse or breaker for the altornator circuit. top of the cover shows "1.25b" in place of said fuse is a wide blade jumper wire rig not put in by me. the wire had become so hot it melted the plastic coating. i clamp/amp tested it to find that shortly after starting the reading indicated a stedy draw of 32 amp from the alt. im thinking its a regulator issue or somthing cuz i still have power in my systems. i hear that if i leave this uncheckd i could be looking at a battery explosion. if someone knows if this regulator issue is repair/rebuildable plz fill me in. id also like to return the fuse set up to working order, so if youve got a parts car with one it that you would part with, im sure we can make some kind of deal. also if you have a altornator kickin around you would part with for a lil $ id be confident enough to hit castrol with the lil crew going out. im still driving her so the sooner i solve this thing the better. lol if the batt. does pop ill be sure to post pics. thx guys.
