Almost Traded the Supra Today

The guy that i bought my supra off of, (bought it with a blown motor and shot clutch). Called me and asked me to trade for his 79 sunbird. fully built 355. 535 lift cam, built turbo 350, 8 1/2 ten bolt rear 4.10 gears etc.. runs mid 11's. I went and looked at the car. but i just couldnt bring myself to get rid of her. ive been through so many times in the short time period ive owned it. Idk its like a have general "bond" with her. i know this is prob not the most interesting thread, but i felt obliged to share...Sean...:love:

He did have an engine dynometer sheet for just over 450 and close to that in torque as well. it would be a fun car as they only weigh 2700 lbs. lol still Supra is just something i cant leave.

yea, its tough to get rid of these cars. Putting so much sweat and blood into them is why. I've had someone hand me the key to his '07 3xx BMW this past summer while on vaca in exchange for my car randomly at a gas station and he was completely serious about it, tempting but didn't take long to make a decision given my extensive history with the car.
