Hey guys time for a small little project!

I had this car for 2 years now. 1987 targa; HOMO blue!! Got it as a 7mge auto for $500 bucks(BHG) fixed it with a felpro and drove it for 2 years straight no issues. Car is completly stock, even the radio! Perfect Blue interior! no dents on the outside! Clean car. Not bad for $500 bucks!!

Recently The heater core plastic adapter on the back of the firewall broke while I was on the freeway, without warning (AC was on, windows up and blasting music) so I didnt hear or smell anything. Got huge loss of power and it came to a siezed hault. No compression in 4 of the cylinders.

Car sat for 3 months, while I had other projects to deal with. Finally im bringing it back to life, revamped!

Plans that are already in the works:

2jzge swap from a 95 lexus with auto. (60K friendly)
1-piece Steel driveshaft (carrier was bad)

Here are some pics:

Here are the future plans that ill be working on:

Full suspension work:
Front and rear Poly bushings (ORDERED)
Tokico blues and eibach spings
ST Sway bars
Drilled/slotted Rotors
EBC yellow pads.
MKIV rims

Engine Mods:
Gonna build myself a Ct26 57trim or 60-1
2jzge T4 manifold
Ill make an Adapter to bolt the Ct26 to
Run oil lines
Car comes with lexus Maf
Run 7mgte 440cc
3" exhaust
2.5'' IC piping
FMIC
SSQV Gen 3

Acc:
LC-1 Wideband
Boost gauge (LoTEK 2 Gauge pod Ordered)
Pod pillar
Full LED conversion (Blue with white Needles)
Full stereo system

After all of that im gonna call it a day. I wanna keep it as a DD no more than 10psi.
Then it will be going up for sale.

I wanted to ask, What type of management should I run on the 2jzge ECU? Its already has the lexus maf, so Im thinking just a SAFC? This isnt gonna be a riduculous setip, just mild fun.

90% of 7m electronics are brittle and have broken/missing plugs. Plus the cost of getting the harness, ecu, coil packs, CPS. All adds up. I've seen people take their Lexus an turbo it;distributor and all,

I'm not looking for 400-500.

Just 8psi-10psi

You will be fine with the stock GE ECU, Start off with the ignition timing at like 2 degree's BTDC base and go up from there. The SAFC will work the same as with 7M electronics. Just be careful with pulling fuel as with a SAFC and modifying the airflow table you'll be advancing timing as well.

BTW the 2jzge AFM is the same size as the stock 7mgte one. The bigger one only comes with the 1uz's. That is unless you have got a 1uzFE V8 AFM for it.

Other than that, looks good. Let me know when you want me to do the valve body. We can work something out.

Yeah, I've never messed with the SAFC, but shouldn't be that difficult.
I'm on clublexus and I see a lot of people using stock GE electronics. One guy had all stock electronics with SAFC, fuel, and a 61mm turbo. Was boosting 16psi no problems. So don't see why I cant do 8-10 on a ct26.

And I believe there was a 1uz maf that's in the box full of extra parts, people just call it the "Lexus maf" so that's why I said it lol.

And once I get suspension all done, and most of the turbo parts in I'll do the valve body, anyway to do a core? Can't really have the car down during the week.

So in order to do the dizzy delete people are saying you have to run a standalone or 2jzgte ecu.

I have access to a 2jzgte ecu, just wondering If anyone has done it?
