In order to reset the air bag light I made a little gizmo to switch between 12V and ground with a switch. If you read the TSRM, you will understand what I am talking about.

A switch or a little frustration and a well timed hand with two wires, haha

I called the dealer and they're charging me $49. Done.

Why pay $49 for somebody to do something so simple?

Is it necessary for the 12v? From what I understand in the TSRM it just needs to connect to ground..

I was considering just connecting two momentary switches (TC>GND, AB>GND) and holding one in each hand.

You are correct, alternate grounds between Tc and Ab. I used a SPDT switch, with ground on the common and Ab and Tc on the two legs. Throwing the switch every second for 5 cycles clears code 41.
