I got a problem running my a/c. My a/c seems to work just fine blows ice cold, however when I run it my engine starts to overheat. I dont' think the electric fan in the engine bay is coming on when I run my a/c. Anybody got any ideas on how to get it running again? Nobody at the local auto part stores seems to know anything about a sensor or switch or relay to tell that fan to turn on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a switch on the high pressure line that runs along the top of the frame on the passenger side in the engine compartment under the afm straight out from the back of the power steering pump.
(did you like that long sentence?)

I just unplugged the connector and made a little jumper from a paper clip. If you do this, and the fans run, the switch is bad. You must evacuate the freon to change it. I just left the jumper in mine. Be sure to wrap it good with tape so it does not touch metal and short out the wires.

The relays are below the battery, near the coil on a N/A car. On the frame near the a/c compressor.
